Istanbul Rambling

Random Thoughts & Notes

Riding the metro/tram here was great. There were a few other tourists but not many. The airport was a clusterfuck but I figured it out. People here are standoffish but friendly. I should really eat something though. Overnight flying always makes me hungry the next day.

I still haven't heard from Amanda Summers in Nepal but I am going their either way. If that doesn't work, who knows.

I need to get a new small bag at the Bazaar because the crappy plastic bag I was using broke. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I chatted briefly with the man sitting in the seat next to me on the plane and he said always haggle. He comes to Istanbul a lot because he is a political science professor from Montreal and they have a sister university here he teaches at some times. He was here for some meeting preparing for a world conference next year.
